Elements of Puzzles:
>A stem presenting a situation
>A set of clues(limitations, rules , objectives, etc.) that further helps to connect the dots and answer the questions accordingly
>4-6 questions that check your understanding of the entire puzzle
Few important tips to solve any puzzle:
>Read the stem very carefully
>Read the clues, and try to use shortened form of a word or phrase. Let's say a clue says, Rahat works only on Tuesdays. You could simply write - (R→ Tues).Another example, Rahat can never work on Friday or R→ Fri. So, use initialism, signs as much as you can to cut down the long sentences so that you don't have to come back to the clues every time and waste precious seconds in the exam hall.
>Vocabulary is vital for solving puzzles. If one fails to understand the meaning of a single word, then the scenario or the questions can be misinterpreted. This can lead to erroneous solutions to the questions.
>Although you will be given a few clues, you can make new additional conditions while filling the logical gaps between the situation and the aforementioned conditions. Sometimes, given conditions generate further limitations and these can be very important to solve a puzzle.
>No one needs to follow a strict pattern to solve puzzles.
